I love this photo as it’s not a standard type of bridal portrait photography you see very often. It was really just a very quick photograph taken whilst doing bridal portraits earlier this year.
I don’t usually prompt a couple or direct them unless it’s something they want me to do, I prefer to carry out my duties quietly and with little fuss but I asked Ellie to turn around on this occasion to pose her for a wedding dress photo and when she asked what I wanted, I just said something like turn and give me a cheeky look… more as a joke than anything else.
Bridal portrait photography is an epic part of the day for any wedding – a chance for the newly married couple to spend a few minutes together with just me for company! I try and stay out of the way as much as I can, allowing a bride and groom to take a breath, say hi to each other and whist they’re doing that I can grab some great relaxed bridal portraits of the happy couple.
Bridal Portrait Photography in Worcestershire
As you can imagine, with all of the beautiful wedding venues throughout Worcestershire, there’s always some great places to seek out for bridal photography, whether that’s in the gardens of the wedding venue or close by in woodland areas, there’s always somewhere to grab some great memories for the happy couple.
This photograph was taken in the grounds of the wedding venue, with the fantastic back drop of the River Severn and plenty of fields and greenery to really make the difference.
For sure I love this photo as it’s just such a natural photograph of Ellie and that’s what I aim for with my wedding photography.
