I am a sucker for black and white. Digital is great for black and white, film is sublime! I love nothing more than to shoot a roll of Kodak Tri-X or similar, develop it at home and scan it in.
There’s a depth and simplicity to black and white I much prefer over colour. I’m trying hard to embrace colour (both digital & film) for 2020, but my heart really lies with black and white every time!
Anyway, here’s a few photos of classic cars from a recent day out.
Banbury hosts the Rally Monte-Carlo Historique entrants with a sideshow of classic and vintage cars around the market square.
It was a good opportunity to see some of the cars in question and of course photograph some of the sideshow, which featured quite a line up of cars from across the ages.
Primarily I went there to shoot film, which I did – a roll of colour and a roll of black and white which I’ll post separately when I have them developed and scanned in.
