Spring was definitely in the air yesterday with temperatures heading into the mid to late teens, and with it being the first full day I had with my new Nikon Df, together with the clocks going forward here in the UK, heralding brighter evenings.  It was a great day to head off into our local wood to take a few photographs to see how the Df handled.

First impressions are very good. It's going to take a little getting used to following the use of Fuji cameras for so long, but the image quality from the RAW files of the 50mm f/1.8 lens looks just what I'm looking for.

Here's a few photographs from yesterday's brief stroll. Hopefully we'll have plenty more days of sunny weather to try the Df out more!
