So an updated road map for Fuji camera lenses has been released to coincide with the release of the stunning Fuji 56mm f/1.2 lens, and it’s fair to say if you’re a Fuji X camera owner, its an exciting time. Along with the release of the Fuji 56mm f/1.2 which on the face of it looks to be a stellar performer, it appears heading into 2015 there will be a 50-140mm constant f/2.8 zoom lens added to the range along with along with a super telephoto lens of some kind, the details of which are still under wraps. This is in addition to an 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 super zoom which will appeal to those not wanting to compromise on width or length for their images.
If these are anywhere near as good as the current XF18-55mm kit lens, they will certainly take some beating, that’s for sure. The full details of the road map can be seen in the image below.
It appears as if it’s a great time to be a Fuji shooter, that’s for sure… the investment in a CSC camera body, with the option of a group of these lenses has huge appeal at present, and with the planned release these lenses, things can only get better for Fuji.
