Following on from my earlier post about Bilbao street photography, I’ve been going through some of the other photographs taken on our recent trip and these are mainly of the sights and buildings of the city.
Bilbao surprised me as to how cosmopolitan it is as a city, it’s a city with a population of around 350,000 or so and predominately the residents live in two areas of the main city, the old part and the new. It’s got quite some history and the modern and traditional buildings around the area mix well together. It’s possibly most famous as a city for the Guggenheim museum, a fantastic architectural masterpiece which looks wonderful in the autumn sun.
It’s certainly a city I’d recommend if you’re looking for a nice relaxing weekend away with plenty to see and do along with some culture mixed in.
Anyway, here’s a few photographs… as before taken with the Nikon Df and either Nikon 35mm f1.4 or 58mm f1.4.
